The Minnesota Twins have parked a CASE 850M dozer in front of Target Field as part of its #VoteDozier campaign to place second baseman Brian Dozier on the American League All-Star Team. Major League Baseball asks the fans to pick one of five players for the last spot on each roster through the Esurance MLB All-Star Game Final Vote.
Dozier was quoted as saying via the Twins' official website: “I think it's really nice and cool of the Twins to do all the advertising and go above and beyond with the bulldozer and stuff. You play for the fans and they pay the ticket to come to see you play, so for them to do what they do and get the fans involved is pretty cool.”
The dozer was provided by CASE Construction Equipment and Titan Machinery. Fans can http://vote for Dozier via the Final Vote ballot on MLB.com through 4:00 PM EST on Friday, July 10.
