New Holland is extending the specification and capabilities of its specialty range with the introduction of new cab models on its essential series, the T4F S, expanding the family into the orchard segment. The preview of the cab models at SITEVI 2023 follows the global launch of the T4F S ROPS tractors.
Together with the new T4F S CAB, an additional power band of rated 75hp with a 3-cylinder engine will be offered on all versions, ROPS and CAB.
With four models that achieve 75-110hp (rated) from a compact and powerful FPT engine, the T4F S tractors are designed particularly for the needs of producers operating in orchards, vineyards and greenhouses. The four-cylinder FPT F5C engine is a 3.6-litre Stage V unit that generates up to 490Nm of torque and a 46% torque rise on the T4.110F S top model. The tractors’ after treatment system (ATS) is located under the hood for uncompromised, optimal visibility with minimal tractor dimensions for unimpeded maneuverability. An engine speed management feature allows the storage of two engine speed settings for precise and efficient field-work.
T4F S tractors are equipped with a simple-to-operate new 12x12 mechanical shuttle or powershuttle transmission capable of 40kph. A creep speed package is optional, allowing very low speeds for special applications. There are now four different front axle options including a SuperSteer™ version, a core component of New Holland specialty tractors’ DNA, to ensure maximum maneuverability even on the tightest fields, and a narrow version for very tight orchards requiring a maximum 1.35m tractor width. A factory-fitted front PTO and front hitch, a MegaFlow hydraulic pump providing up to 73 litres/min flow for efficient control of implements via rear or mid-mount remote valves, and a new rear lift design with a 2,800kg lift capacity are further highlights that help enhance versatility.
The new T4F S inherits many other features from other T4 specialty tractors. These include the flat-deck cab, a wide, spacious and comfortable operator environment which offers more leg space and ensures the operator can benefit from a comfortable seating position and an ergonomic control layout. Maximum protection from dust, pollen and spray mist is ensured by the New Holland patented Blue Cab™ 4 double-filtration cabin.
