Narinder Mittal is President India at CNH, spearheading customer-centric excellence and growth across this highly strategic market in terms of the Company’s commercial, sourcing, manufacturing and R&D activities. In this role, he is responsible for the financial performance and commercial execution of the Agriculture segment in India.
Mr. Mittal has over 30 years of experience in various leadership roles across functions. Prior to his appointment as President India in 2024, Mr. Mittal served as India Country Manager and Managing Director, successfully steering this country’s business to profitable growth. In 2021, he took over as Vice President, Industrial Operations for the Asia Pacific region, progressing from his role as Head of Manufacturing Operations in the previous AMEA region, which spanned Asia Pacific, the Middle East and Africa. Mr. Mittal first joined CNH in 2016 as Director of Noida Manufacturing Operations.
From 2012 – 2016 he was Corporate Head of Operations at International Tractors Limited, and from 2007 – 2012 he served as Head of Manufacturing & Quality at CLAAS India. From 1997 – 2007 he assumed roles of increasing responsibility in the areas of manufacturing and quality in various automotive companies in India. He began his career in 1993 as a manufacturing engineer.
Mr. Mittal is a Six Sigma Black belt; holds a bachelor’s degree in Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Calicut in India; a post-graduate degree in Marketing Management from Punjabi University in India; an MBA (3-year PGBA) from IIMS, Kolkata in India; and completed the Executive Management program at Columbia Business School, New York, in the USA.
