Chief Information Officer
Luis Abreu is Chief Information Officer (CIO) at CNH. He leads the global Information Technology (IT) organization to successfully deliver high-performing technology infrastructure and supporting applications company-wide.
Mr. Abreu assumed his current role and joined the Company’s Global Leadership Team in January 2025. Prior to this, he was the Acting Global CIO from August 2024 and Head of Global IT Regional Operations, where he was responsible for identifying, deploying, and managing IT services and projects across the Company’s regions from early 2024.
He has assumed increasingly senior roles within the IT function, often with multiple concurrent responsibilities, these include: CIO for the North America region (2022 – 2024); Global Head of Supply Chain IT Support (2021-2024); CIO for the Latin America region (2019 – 2022); Global Manager for End User & Executive Services (2017 – 2021); Information System Security Officer for the Latin America region (2013 – 2019); Argentina IT Country Manager (2015 – 2018); and Latin America Manager for End User & Executive Services (2013 – 2015).
Before joining CNH, Luis Abreu spent 10 years with truck and bus manufacturer Iveco (now part of Iveco Group). He began his career there in 2005 and grew to IT roles of increasing responsibility across the Latin America region.
Luis Abreu holds a bachelor’s degree in Information Systems and an MBA in Project Management from Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV) in Brazil.
