CASE Construction Equipment has earned an Equipment Today 2026 Contractors’ Top 50 New Products Award for its new GR935 motor grader. In response to evolving market demands and a recognized gap in large machines for infrastructure and heavy highway sectors, CASE recently announced three new grader models in the 200-plus horsepower size class: the GR925, GR930 and GR935. The company now offers a range of five motor grader models.
At the top of the new lineup, the CASE GR935 motor grader features more available power to help crews get more done on large highway jobs, site-development projects or snow removal work. With a 325-horsepower engine, a 16-foot moldboard, an operating weight of more than 51,000 pounds and a top travel speed of 28 mph, the GR935 gives operators the size and muscle to cut through challenging material and move more per pass.
Improving Efficiency With a Smoother, Smarter Transmission
A standout feature on the new GR935 motor grader is its high-performance continuous variable transmission (CVT). The CVT gives operators infinite gear ratios, delivering seamless, uninterrupted power directly to the ground, avoiding shift shock or mechanical gear steps felt in standard transmissions. The result is a smoother ride and better grade finish.
The CVT also includes an advanced auto function that automatically adjusts engine RPMs in real time based on load conditions while also maintaining ground speed. This consistent drive helps minimize tire slippage, improve finish quality and maximize fuel efficiency by drawing only the amount of fuel needed for the immediate load. For the operator, it changes the entire feel of the job, allowing them to focus on the grade instead of managing gear shift points. Whether dialing in fine tolerances or moving heavy material, the seamless power delivery gives operators superior, predictable control.
Enhancing Precision With Advanced Controls
Standard electro-hydraulic controls also give operators responsive, accurate command of the blade height, angle and pitch. When integrated with a 2D or 3D machine control system, this functionality helps operators maintain consistent, repeatable accuracy while reducing the need for repeated grade checks and rework. They also help less experienced operators perform closer to the level of seasoned pros, an increasingly valuable advantage in a market where skilled operators can be hard to find.
The machine’s optional all-wheel-drive system adds another layer of control. A hydrostatic setup uses a dedicated pump and motor at each front wheel, allowing the wheels to run faster or slower than the rear tandems as conditions require. This helps the machine maintain traction and consistent travel speed as loads and ground conditions change.

Operators can also worry less about downtime with the GR935, thanks to a Protected Circle sealed slew bearing that minimizes wear and the routine maintenance that open-gear systems require. The sealed design shields critical components from dirt and debris while helping maintain precise moldboard positioning over long hours of operation.
For added protection, a Blade Impact Absorption System cushions the moldboard during unexpected collisions with curbs, rocks or other obstacles, protecting components and reducing the potential for unplanned downtime. Together, these features keep the GR935 motor grader working longer between service intervals, so crews can stay focused on the job instead of the shop.
