PRECISION TECHNOLOGY AND AUTONOMY ADVANCEMENTS HEADLINE CASE IH INNOVATIONS AT AGRITECHNICA 2023

Release Date: 06 Nov 2023   |   St. Valentin
CASE IH AUTONOMOUS TRACTOR ON THE FIELD

Enabling farmers to spend more field hours on tasks that require an expert hands-on approach is the backbone of Case IH’s technology. By combining new-age technology and industry-leading iron with cutting-edge science, Case IH is providing advancements in digital technology and agronomically superior iron that are critical to farmer success.

Examples of this can be found throughout the Case IH line-up — from AFS Harvest Command combine automation, which enables optimized machine settings automatically, to Cart Automation which empowers all operators to run more efficiently. These technologies increase operator efficiency and productivity by automating functions like ground speed and implement control giving users more time to focus on other tasks and improving machine performance outcomes.

The future of Case IH automation is on further display at Agritechnica 2023 with the presentation of the Magnum featuring Raven Autonomy, the autonomous features in the Farmall 75C Electric, and brand-new Baler Automation featuring LiDAR based swath analysis technology.

Delivering precision technology innovations further spotlight Case IH’s commitment to allowing users to adopt autonomy and automation solutions wherever they are on their path to autonomy. These precision technology updates are an important step for farmers towards adopting further autonomy and automation in their operations, and with these products, Case IH is providing the foundation for the future of full autonomy across farms. For 2023, these enhancements include:

  • Case IH Pro 1200 Guidance Kit: Brings a common industry leading user interface by introducing the Pro1200 for use in specific aftermarket auto-guidance applications and implement control. Additionally, this solution enables and provides connectivity allowing operators to manage data in real time.
  • AFS Connect EasyLink: This affordable modem allows customers to connect their machines easily to the AFS Connect telematics portal for monitoring fleet performance across the whole farm. AFS Connect EasyLink can be connected to a wider range of machines, from CAN (Controlled Area Network) to analog, allowing the customer to monitor every piece of equipment on the farm including construction and trucks. When paired with Case IH equipment it enables the AFS Connect Room Hub, empowering dealers the ability to provide remote access capabilities for improving maintenance and support.
  • New AFS Connect API Partnerships: API allows FMIS providers and data management key players who optimize crop production to establish direct machine and agronomic data flow between farm management software and the Case IH telematics portal AFS Connect. Case IH continues to invest in its open data strategy to ensure seamless data management options for farmers. Case IH is proud to launch new direct data connections with the following partners: AGRARMONITOR by betriko GmbH, Auravant, Bennamann Ltd, Cropman, CropManager by SEGES Innovation, Cropwise by Syngenta, FARMDOK, FieldPRO, Frontu, Libra Cart by Agrimatics, MyEasyFarm, N-Time by Sentinel Fertigation, NEXT Farming by FarmFacts GmbH, Pattern Ag, PCT Agcloud, Stratum by AgWorks, VisibleFarm by AgroVIR, xarvio® Digital Farming Solutions by BASF and xFarm.
  • Raven Industries Portfolio Upgrades: Case IH announces a new generation of Raven’s 7-inch aftermarket display under the name “CR7+” as well as Raven’s 12-inch aftermarket display under the name “CR12+”. This new display generation will offer improved hardware capacity compared to the current displays and will support an enhanced user interface further enhancing the user experience. The next generation displays will have the same harnessing and connector, keeping compatibility with steering solutions such as the Raven electric steering motor under the name “DirecSteer™.

As a leader in precision and digital solutions, Case IH has built an integrated suite of precision, automated and autonomous solutions that make sense for all types of farmers.

“It’s more than just trying to be pioneers in the market – which we are,” said Global Product Leader for Precision Technology, Chris Dempsey, Case IH. “It’s about listening to what farmers have to say, hearing those concerns and providing them solutions. We’re not here to replace the farmer – we’re here to say, we know your job is hard, and we want to support you in your journey to do more in less time and with less resources. It’s about bolstering farmer’s bottom line every season.”
