The 14th China Dairy Industry Conference, China Dairy Industry Top 20 (D20) Summit, and 2023 China Dairy Industry Exhibition have been held in the mountain city of Chongqing. More than 600 exhibitors participated in the event.
New Holland had a range of tractors and large square balers on show, providing exhibition visitors with a great insight into the brand’s offering for Chinese dairy farmers, which also includes self-propelled forage harvesters, windrowers, mower conditioners, rakes and tedders.
The New Holland T2204 tractor has a rated 220 horsepower FPT NEF engine, and with high-efficiency second-generation selective catalytic reduction (SCR) technology, fully meets the National IV emission standards.
More convenient operation is achieved by the tractor’s 18x6 full powershift plus power reversing gearbox, shifting without clutch. The road/field automatic shifting function of the full powershift transmission and the GO-TO automatic implement raising function can greatly liberate the driver and reduce work fatigue.
The hydraulic flow rate of the main pump is as high as 120 litres per minute. The two-speed PTO and automatic shifting make the operation more intelligent and precise. Electronic traction control, automatic four-wheel-drive and differential lock, stepless wheelbase adjustment; enhanced instrument column, LED headlights, and low-noise luxury cab, improve the driving experience, provide more convenient control and easier operation.
The BB1290PLUS large square baler, also on display at the exhibition, features New Holland’s exclusive Loop Master™ loop knotter. The loop knotting process prevents the cut twine ends from being discarded in the field, which not only protects the environment, but also improves the quality of animal feed, and produces stronger bales, which saves the amount of twine used.
The extra-long bale chamber and unique pre-compression structure ensure that the machine can maintain a perfect square shape while producing high-density bales. The newly-designed feeding and large needle protection and driving system, strengthened piston bearing and pick-up mechanism, unique design of the ring knotter, and anti-sticking technology inside the bale chamber make the baler more reliable and efficient.
