- Compact and versatile tractor to provide the next generation of Thai farmers with hands-on machinery experience and knowledge in innovative farming
- CNH Industrial recently awarded for Best Contribution to Thailand’s Education by the Thai Ministry of Education for its long-standing commitment to agriculture talent development
New Holland Agriculture, a brand of CNH Industrial, has recently donated a compact and versatile TT2 tractor to Pakdee College of Commerce and Technology, a vocational school situated in central Thailand. Through this donation New Holland aims to provide students with hands-on machinery experience and promote innovative farming techniques.
The TT2 is a robust, 50-horsepower tractor that is custom-made for all conditions – from rice applications, planting and harvesting to transportation and even livestock work. Its versatility and simplicity as an all-rounder equipment make it an ideal tool for a wide range of trainings that simulate real-farming scenarios.
Dr. Thiti Mahaboonpachai, Director of Pakdee College, highlighted the importance of strong collaboration between vocational training institutions and private sector. Such partnerships allow students to gain access to reliable technology and equipment which is crucial for specialized courses like agricultural machinery.
“We are grateful for CNH Industrial for contributing a New Holland TT2 tractor to our school. It is ideally suited for practical training, allowing our students to practice driving an efficient tractor while learning about engine and machinery systems,” he added.
Designed with farmers’ productivity and well-being in mind, the TT2 is powerful, fuel-efficient, and user-friendly. The TT2’s key features such as 8x8 synchro shuttle transmission, best in class lift capacity, easy handling and maintenance ensure a productive day in the field, while ergonomically-positioned controls and adjustable seats help enhance operator comfort and safety under different conditions.
Niran Tangchuthongchai, New Holland Sales & Marketing Director, said, “At New Holland, we aim to empower the next generation of farmers with robust and industry-leading tractors, working with partners such as Pakdee, to help bridge the gap between theory and practice. We want them to understand and appreciate how cutting-edge technology, automation and machinery can significantly enhance farming productivity, sustainability and safety.”
The tractor donation at Pakdee College aligns with New Holland’s continuous efforts to advance the future of farming and foster inclusive growth among farmer communities. Technical support and training are provided to complement equipment donation, ensuring that students and faculty are fully leveraging the benefits of the latest technology and tools in the market.
In partnership with local dealer, Por Tractor in Kamphaeng Phet, Pakdee College has been offering supplementary courses on tractor use featuring New Holland tractors for over two decades.
CNH Industrial is known for its long-standing commitment to agricultural development across the world.
