
Carlos Santiago is Chief Manufacturing Officer at CNH. He is responsible for our global industrial operations across four regions and 15 countries, ensuring efficient production processes and driving continuous improvement through our CNH Business System to optimize productivity and profitability.
In over 30 years, Mr. Santiago has dedicated his career to industrial operations with experience in North America, Latin America and Europe – much of that with CNH.
Prior to his current appointment in 2024 Mr. Santiago was Vice President of Quality and Industrial Projects at CNH. From 2021 – 2023 he was Operations Director at Daimler Trucks North America, and from 2015 – 2021 Mr. Santiago was Head of Operations at Mercedes-Benz Brazil. Prior to his appointment at Mercedes-Benz, he was Head of Industrial Operations at CNH Latin America from 2011 and Head of Industrial Operations in Europe from 2010 to 2011. In order of appointment Carlos Santiago was plant manager at the following CNH production sites: Jesi, Italy; Contagem, Brazil; and Curitiba, Brazil – the latter was where he began his career with CNH in 2002. Prior to joining CNH, Mr. Santiago was a Product Manager at Fiat Auto (now Stellantis) from 2001 to 2002. He got his professional start in manufacturing as an Assembly Line Supervisor at Iveco (now Iveco Group).
Carlos Santiago holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the Universidade de São Paulo and a master’s degree in Industrial Administration from the Universidade Federal do Paranà, both in Brazil.
