It’s a new year, with new opportunities for Victorian machinery dealership R.P. Motors, as they add the Case IH brand to their portfolio.
Based in Werribee South, R.P. Motors has a proud history, established in 1970 by Robert and Vilma Piovesan, and beginning as a modest mechanical repair shop. In 1978, the business was appointed as a Fiat tractor dealership, marking the start of the partnership that eventually evolved into New Holland and CNH.
From January 1, their offering to customers now includes CNH ag machinery brand Case IH, which Josh Piovesan said felt like a logical next step for the business.
“We approached CNH early last year about becoming the representative for Case IH in the local area, and after a comprehensive submission process, we were given the green light,” he said.
“Our decision to apply to become a Case IH dealer came after some thorough research on the West Melbourne region, through which we saw a clear gap in the market for representation of the Case IH brand. Case IH joins our long representation of New Holland, and as a long-standing partner of CNH, we are proud to expand our relationship and bring another world-class brand to our family-owned and operated dealership.”
CNH Business Director – Agriculture ANZ, Aaron Bett, said the addition of a new Case IH dealership was a positive start to 2025 for the brand, with R.P. Motors’ reputation for exceptional service built on 55 years of experience in the sales and service of tractors and supported by significant investment in the dealership’s facilities.

Josh said R.P. Motors would offer the full range of Case IH equipment, ensuring they could meet the diverse needs of their customers, from the versatile Case IH Farmall compact tractors, ideal for lifestyle properties and smaller farming operations, to the powerful Steiger series suited for large-scale farming and earthmoving applications.
"Our customers run a diverse range of businesses. Locally, in the Werribee South area, many are vegetable growers, reflecting the region's strong market gardening heritage. However, more broadly in the Melbourne region, we are proud to serve a diverse customer base, including lifestyle customers, councils, contractors, and earthmoving firms,” Josh said.
The addition of the Case IH brand was a significant milestone for the business, Josh said, meaning greater choice for customers, who could now access a broader range of high-quality machines tailored to their needs.
